Philosophy
Wealth comes from providing a service to others that they are willing to pay
for in a competitive (free) marketplace.
Corollaries
This is a version of the golden rule, or the boomerang effect that you get
back what you put out, although you cannot know when or by whom.
You will find that get rich quick schemes, scams and cons do not work,
although they may seem to in the short term. The perpetrators are building up
bad karma / luck / energy that will come back to haunt them.
Any exchange in a free market is a win-win situation, with both parties
benefiting, otherwise they would not partake in the exchange,
If it is not a free market, with money payment, then we are into the
voluntary sector or charity: if you are doing it to meet ego needs, rather than
say as an expression of divine love (or whatever) then you may well be
exploiting the people you think you are helping.
Beliefs
You can make money by providing goods or services to others, as above. You
can earn as much (or as little) as you make up you mind that you can, provided
you are prepared to do your homework and build a business step by step (one day
at a time).
There are plenty of get rich quick schemes, which can certainly work for the
promoters, but the get rich quick motivation is not conducive to long term
success. So if you are looking for such a scheme please go elsewhere.
However there are many many sound business ideas that you can make work, and
have been made to work by many people of all shapes and sizes.
