My original background is in general insurance working with another subsidiary of the Munich Re Group, Great Lakes UK, first in Munich and then in London. Seeing and helping a business develop from an idea in somebody’s head to an operation with 25 people has been a great learning experience.
In my spare time, I love cooking (favourites are Italian, Thai and Japanese recipes) and baking (alternating between muffin recipes and my German grandmother’s traditional family cake recipes).
