Changes for 2017 - annual data for 100+ lives
12 January 2017
We've listened to adviser feedback and we want to make our processes work better for medium and large employers.
While advisers say our online quarterly administration works well for smaller companies, for larger businesses, administering policies and handling employee data tends to be more complex. Therefore, we are now accepting annual data for companies with more than 100 employees so we can offer a better solution for these clients.
These changes will further enhance our commitment to being a full service provider to businesses of all sizes, offering the right solution to the right client.
For small companies, nothing changes. Our online self-service approach is working well, with 82% of schemes registered for self administration successfully refreshing their data online every quarter, and over 60% of advisers saying they prefer our approach. Crucially our approach also allows us to maintain a lower cost of administration, so advisers can keep providing great value products to clients.
For medium sized companies, advisers will still need to quote online, but can now provide annual data, uploaded online by adviser or employer. The option to upload data quarterly is still available.
For large companies, quotes can be completed online or can now be requested via email (email@example.com). Data can be provided annually to us via email also. As these policies tend to be more complex, our team will therefore be able to provide more help and assistance.
These changes are effective immediately. When submitting a new application form, we ask advisers to tell us of their administration preference. For existing policy holders who wish to change how their scheme is administered, this can be done at the next rate review date. Please tell us in advance of that date if you'd like to make a change and please note, we will still need all the usual data fields regardless of the option chosen.
